October 5th, 2026 Server Migration: Illume (SHAREit) is scheduled for a SFU IT server migration on Monday October 5th (from ~7am to 12pm PT). Staff should PAUSE all update activity (eg. request creation or status updates) during the migration, even if the site appears available, in order to avoid a loss of your data. More information available via the listservs and we will update Staff ILL listervs and your Staff Dashboard announcements on when you can resume normal activity that day.

New Software Features & Known Bugs submitted to Auto-Graphics

Feature: The OpenILL feature [11] has now been added to Illume (SHAREit)! Patrons can now submit pre-populated ILL requests directly from external third-party vendors (eg. EBSCO) or library web forms. This new feature can help students quickly and easily submit Non-returnable (Copy) requests from discovery layers such as EDS and database resources. Group training available in the spring or contact Illume Support [4] to set-up this feature.
